Current Customer Section
We are making a special
ribbon heading available for our customers. If you have room available,
you can have the American flag added to your ribbon heading as shown
in the illustration below. There is no extra charge to add the flags
to your ribbon heading. Please indicate you would like to use the
"Flags in the Ribbon Heading" by indicating this on the
Special Instructions section of the Order Form.
We are also making the pictures below available for
use on your calendar. If you would like to use any of these pictures,
place a note, in the picture envelope from the Promotion Kit, identify
the picture title and number from the web site. Normal color picture
charges will apply.
There are two main types of calendar pads:
Finally, we can add the text "Special Day of Remembrance"
to September 11, 2001 in bold text in the center of the date block.
If you wish this added to your calendar, attach a note to your listings
printout telling us to add this to your calendar.
The Order Book and Sales Manual
Calendar customers who review the materials in their Promotion Kit
each year will notice that we are no longer putting a printed copy
of the Sales Manual in the Promotion Kit. We have created an electronic
version of this book and placed it on a Promotion Kit CD that is in
the Promotion Kit. This CD also includes many other forms traditionally
found in the Promotion Kit. The files are created using Adobe Acrobat
Reader, the same program the IRS uses to transmit tax forms. The Sales
Manual will be put in all Promotion Kits for first year calendar sponsors.
If you place the CD in your CD drive and it does not open to the menu
screen, click here for instructions on how to open the Promotion Kit
CD. If you have trouble viewing the Adobe Reader files, click here
for instructions on how to fix this problem.
You can also view the Order Booklet from this web site. Click here
to view the Order Booklet. You will need Acrobat Reader 4.05 or later
to view the Order Booklet. Click here to install Acrobat Reader 6.0
if you do not have it. If you have trouble opening the Order Booklet
after installing Acrobat Reader, see the paragraph above.
If you would like a printed version of the Sales Manual, there is
a postage paid card included in the Promotion Kit to request the booklets.
You can also call your area representative or our home office at 1.800.531.1484
to have booklets mailed to you.
Calendar Profit Calculator
A very useful feature on our web site allows you to get a general
idea on how much money you can make with a GBC Calendar project. From
the Home Page, click on Profit Calculator and fill in the amounts.
The calculator is a great way to try out various scenarios for current
customers. What if you raised your Display Ad charge by $10.00? What
if you raise your calendar price by 25 cents to more than cover any
increase in prices? You can experiment all you want with our Profit
Calculator.
School Handbook Printing
Service
Contact your sales representative for information on our School Handbook
Printing Service. We started offering this service to fill a need
experienced by many school districts who do not have a local printer
capable of printing their school handbook. Pricing is easy, just send
your representative a copy of your last handbook or tell us how many
pages your book contains. We have two sizes available, 8 1/2"
X 11 " or 8 1/2" X 5 1/5". Books are stitched in the
center and are printed on high quality paper. The covers can be printed
in a second ink color of your choice and can include a photo or mascot
of your choice. Copy can be sent to us in a camera-ready format or
we can do the typesetting for you. Click here to see samples of current
handbooks.
Do All Calendars Start With January?
With a GBC Calendar project, the answer is a resounding NO!! We start
calendars with any month of the year. Your order is due approximately
eight weeks before your calendar starts. August and September calendars
are very popular with school related groups or with groups who include
school activities on their calendars. October starting calendars are
very popular with fire departments who like to place a special emphasis
during Fire Prevention Month. If a business in your community still
gives away calendars (and very few do), it probably starts with January.
When your non-January calendar is used up, all your customers will
need a new replacement calendar right away and at a time of the year
when no other group or business has calendars available. Contact your
sales representative for more information.
